A woman was once asked a young girl,

What do you "gain" from praying to God regularly?

The young girl replied:

Usually ′′ I don't earn anything ", but rather ′′ I lose things ".

And she quoted everything she lost praying to God regularly:

I lost my pride.

I lost my arrogance.

I lost greed.

I lost my urge.

I lost ′′ my ′′ anger.

I lost the lust.

I lost the pleasure of lying.

I lost the taste of sin.

I lost impatience, despair, and

discouragement.

At time, so of us or we pray, not to gain something, but to lose things that don't allow us to grow spiritually.

Prayer educates, strengthens, and heals.

Prayer is the channel that connects us directly to God." Never stop praying. Its the master key!!!

Scriptural readings I think will .Better our understanding that's why I had to go this far bringing up the following points. 

Matthew 13:57 

And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house. 

Matthew 13:58 

And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief

Jesus did many mighty works wherever he went. He healed the sick, raised the dead, provided miraculous food etc... but just couldn’t do much in his own town all because they had no regard for him. They knew him to be the “carpenter’s son, the son of Mary, they knew his brothers and sisters 

(Mark 6:3).

Many times we lose relationships that were meant to save us all because we get too familiar with them. So we take them for granted. How difficult it is for a wife to believe her husband’s anointing or even his brothers and sisters. Most times mothers have great regard for the calling of their children, and I don’t know why, but you see the brothers and sisters, those ones are hoodlums.

In your place of work, in your line of business, in school, all around you, value people and don’t let over familiarity make you joke or take for granted people who were meant to favour you. Respect them, honor them, hold them in high esteem. Yes they may sometimes come down to your level and humble themselves in relating with you, they may even be vulnerable and lose their guards with you, don’t take that as an occasion to speak to them anyhow or let your mind count them as common. Your help is still in their hands.

Often they might not even be very important. Just treat everyone you come across with respect. Even a maid can save an entire family. Whenever you see any human being, see the image of God in them. And then maybe you’d have more regard for them. God won’t come down from heaven to help you, he’d use people. GOD bless you, please comment and share the message.

Close your mouth, give GOD all the glory and seldomly share testimony for edification of the body of Christ. Not all in the church came to worship GOD.
